Advisory BoardAdam Nelson is a 1997 graduate of Dartmouth College and the 2000 Olympic Silver Medalist in shot put. The 1994 Junior World Champion, he surged on to the world scene in 2000, when he went from 0000006 in the U.S. to 1 in the world. Aside from his Olympic medal, Nelson other successes include two indoor and two outdoor U.S. Championships, a gold medal at the 2001 Goodwill Games and two World Championship silver medals. Currently ranked top three in the world, he trains in Athens, Georgia near his hometown of Atlanta.
